John Henry Holliday

John was born August 14, 1851 in Griffin, GA. His mother spent alot of time with him, teaching him to play piano and teaching him manners. When his mother died, John was so saddened that it would stay with him all his life. To avoid the trouble caused by John shooting a man, he was sent to dentist school. By the time he graduated, he had consumption ( which is what killed his mother). He left Georgia in 1873 on his way to infamy. O his way west, in Dallas, John earned his nickname,Doc Holliday, and it would stay with him for forever. He would become friends withWyatt Earp. He was a gambler and a deadly man to make mad. He stood by Wyatt Earp at the OK Corral gunfight in 1881. He died in 1887 in Glen Springs, CO.
